Beyond the Metrics: Why Winning the Power Table Social Impact Award Means Everything

If you have been around here for a while, you already know two things about me: I am a fiercely competitive hockey mom, and I absolutely love to help my clients win. Usually, when we talk about “winning” at Not Another Virtual Assistant, we are talking about crushing the industry standard. We are talking about hitting 50.72% open rates, driving hundreds of warm leads, and giving business owners 4-6 hours of their time back every single month. But recently, we experienced a different kind of win—one that goes far beyond click rates and revenue goals. I am incredibly humbled and proud to announce that we have been named a Power Table 100 Honoree. We also received the Power Table Social Impact Award for our work with local not-for-profit organizations right here in our community.

Here is the “raw and real” truth about why this award matters so much, and how we are using email marketing to actually change lives.

Power Table Social Impact Award

The Nonprofit Hustle: Building on Rented Land

Through my work as a local PTO president and a volunteer youth lacrosse coach, I see firsthand how hard community leaders work. But I also saw a massive problem: incredible, life-changing organizations were getting stuck on the exact same social media hamster wheel as my corporate clients.

Nonprofits rely on community awareness, volunteers, and donations to keep their doors open. Yet, so many of them were spending hours creating content for Instagram or Facebook, only to have the algorithm completely ghost them. In fact, they were begging for visibility on rented land when their time was so desperately needed on the ground.

I knew we could fix that.

We decided to donate our signature email marketing services to help local organizations build an asset they actually own. By implementing the same high-converting funnels and automated sequences we use for our CEO clients, we gave these nonprofits a direct, reliable line of communication to their supporters.

The Real ROI: Meet the Organizations

By stepping in as their strategic partner, we took the heavy lifting of digital marketing completely off their plates. Instead of fighting the algorithm, they got to focus on the work that truly matters.

Here is who we had the absolute honor of serving:

  • Boys and Girls Club of Wooster: We utilized strategic email campaigns to help fundraise for vital afterschool programs and summer camps, ensuring local kids have a safe, empowering place to grow.
  • Wayne County Humane Society: By optimizing their outreach and sharing their stories directly in the inbox, we helped countless shelter dogs find their forever homes. 🐾
  • People to People Ministries (Wooster): We amplified their mission to ensure they could continue providing essential food, clothing, and support to families facing emergencies in our community.

Redefining the “Win” of the Power Table Social Impact Award

Getting off the social media hamster wheel isn’t just about reclaiming your time to scale a business or step into your CEO era. Sometimes, it is about reclaiming your time so you can feed a family, shelter an animal, or mentor a child.

This Social Impact Award from the Power Table is a beautiful reminder that when we build sustainable systems and own our audiences, we don’t just grow our businesses—we elevate our entire community.

To the Power Table, thank you for this incredible honor. And to the Boys and Girls Club of Wooster, the Wayne County Humane Society, and People to People Ministries: thank you for trusting Not Another Virtual Assistant with your mission.
